The Dancers in Motion workshop is a immersive hands on workshop where you'll learn posing and lighting as well as the business of dance photography. You will leave with your own portfolio images and a much greater understanding of how the dance world works and how to create beautiful dance images every time with confidence.

Susan Michal is an internationally published, award winning photographer. Susan’s unique and compelling  images have been used in calendars, greeting cards and posters around the world. Her work  has been displayed in prestigious galleries, corporate locations and prominent homes. She has worked as a professional  for over twenty five years and specializes in children, family and dance photography. Susan photographs over 2000 dancers a year and teaches photographers in her course SHOOT SELL SCALE the Art and Business of DANCE PHOTOGRAPHY.

She is the author of two books highlighting her work, Flowers in Transition and Dancers in Motion.

Susan has served as President and Chairman of the Board for Professional Photographers of America. She holds the Master Craftsman Degree in photography and is certified by the Professional Photographers of America. Susan had received the prestigious fellowship from The American Society of Photographers and is a member of the Society of 25.
